Do you live in Boston, Greater Boston or the Metro West Area?

I travel  throughout Boston, Greater Boston and the Metro West Area of Eastern Massachusetts to work with clients in their homes. I also offer behavioral consultations at No Bones About It in Brookline MA on Sunday afternoons and evenings. For more information, please feel free to call 617-803-4086 or email me at Vera@CooperativeDog.com today!

What to expect from a behavior consultation?

In keeping with my first things first principle, I require that you have, at least, discussed your dog's behavioral problem(s) with your veterinarian. It is essential that s/he is aware of the issues so to rule out a possible medical cause before we meet.

Prior to our first appointment, I will gather information from you about your dog's behavior and more. During the 1.5 hour initial evaluation session, I will assess your dog's behavior and outline a behavior modification plan. We will work with your dog during this first session so that you will know how to handle the situations that arise daily. Occasionally, I spend more time with you so you should not try to fit the session in too tightly between other appointments.

While some dog behavior problems can be resolved in one or two sessions, most require more time. We will likely work together for several sessions. In order to effect lasting change in your dog's behavior, you must be willing to change how you interact with and care for your dog.

Whatever the behavioral issue, I am able to work the entire process to completion with you. I have several group dog training classes available. Outdoor classes are available to help you and your dog to better handle the challenges encountered on daily walks. Rowdy Rovers is specifically for reactive and aggressive dogs. Agility and K9 Nose Work are stress busting dog sports that also offer dogs and owners a chance to work as a team.

Don't put it off one more day. Call me at 617-803-4086 to discuss or email Vera@CooperativDog.com. You may be surprised at the change that is possible!
